Clutch Pedal Switch

Description

This switch is used by the logic module on 1986 or earlier vehicles to determine when the clutch pedal is being pressed.  The switch is used to disengage the cruise control feature on vehicle equipped with cruise control.  On 1987 and later models, the logic module looks for a rapid increase in engine speed as an indicator of when the clutch pedal is being pressed.  This causes a momentary increase in engine speed.  The switch outputs 12V when the clutch pedal is pressed.
